Guestbook

  1. Millie has been my dear friend for many years. We worked at Boeing together and gradually Spirit. Millie has baked many cakes for me for special occasions. I was visiting with her daughter Krista about Millie trying to teach me how to make roses out of frosting to decorate cakes. Hers were to perfection and mine seemed to look like an odd shaped ball. She was an amazing woman with so many talents. She painted Christmas decorations and shared them with those she loved. Dan cut the decorations out for her to paint every year. I so looked forward to my new Christmas decoration to put on my tree. She signed and dated the decoration too making them ever so special. Her quilts were gorgeous along with her embroidering. There just wasn’t anything she couldn’t accomplish!
Millie, I will miss our monthly lunches and celebrating birthdays. I will miss sitting by you in church and going to our Sunday brunches. I will miss our talks and oh how I will miss your laugh. You always encouraged me and you were always there when I needed a friend. My oh my Heaven has received an angel beyond compare. I love you Millie and you will forever have a place in my heart. My sincere sympathy to Dan who has absolutely cherished her. Also my sympathy to her children, grandchildren, sister, nieces along with her family of friends. May the family be comforted with knowing so many people care and will be praying for you at this most difficult time. Millie…….until we meet again.

  2. I am a quilting friend of Millie. We went in a trip with her and Dee to Houston quilt show. Lots of time in the car. She was a very kind caring person. Alway had a smile, seemed happy all the time. She will be missed by lots of people. So sorry for your loss.

  3. Millie, so happy that our paths crossed so many years ago. I never imagined I would not get one more visit in or be blessed with one more of your precious Christmas ornaments. You are one of the most creative and talented crafting persons I ever met. You are an amazing baker and beautiful woman and wife to Dan. But beyond all these amazing attributes you are a genuine human being and dedicated friend. Your presence will be missed by so many who know and love you. We will all do our best to look after your Dan and Harley until you are all united again. You made your mark in our lives and will remain in our hearts always. Our sympathies and sincere prayers to Dan and family as they grieve the loss of such a beautiful part of their lives and release you to the arms of our Father God and your new home with the Angels.
    Love you,
    Debbie Kelley
