Burton, Minnie, 80, homemaker, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 30, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 10 a.m., Saturday, October 1, First Mennonite Brethren Church in Wichita. The graveside service will follow at 4:30 p.m., North Mennonite Brethren Cemetery in Fairview, OK. Preceded in death by parents, C.J. and Helen (Friesen) Reimer; 2 sisters; 1 brother; husbands, Roy A. Flaming and Clarence Burton. Survivors: daughters, Shirley Voth (Al) of Sublette, Patricia Pauls (Dennis) of Wichita, Geneva Flaming of Fairview, OK; step-children, Linda Gail Reeves (Weldon) of Sacramento, CA and Charlottia Gay (Bill) of Cleburne, TX; 1 brother; 2 sisters; 6 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Family was always very important to Minnie. I enjoyed visiting with her and hearing about her life experiences. She loved her daughters very much. I am glad to have known her for many years. Minnie will be missed by many.
