Montemayor, Victor Jr., “Monty”, 77, served with pride in the USMC and retired from the USAF. Saturday, July 14, 2007, he entered into eternal rest, surrounded by his family. Rosary, 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Downing Lahey East Chapel, Funeral Mass, 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Preceded in death by his sweetheart, Sophie, parents, grandson and granddaughter. Monty is survived by his sons, Victor (Silvia) Montemayor, Wichita, KS and Juan (Tracey) Montemayor, Rosehill, KS; daughters, Sue (Ashvin) Shah, and Maria (Jose) Torres, all of Wichita; brother, Robert Gonzales of TX; grandchildren, Marcos, Gabriel, Sapna, Lindsey, Ethan, Jaedon, and Jordon; great-grandchildren, Antonio, Sophie, Alexis and Samantha. A memorial has been established with Paralyzed Veterans of America 801 18th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006-3517.
Rosary, 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Downing Lahey Mortuary East Chapel.

Sue, Rocky, Lula, Juan, What a wonderful father God blessed you with. It was our priviledge to be related to him & to have all of you in our lives.
