Nancy Carol (Easley) Laggart, 70, retired after 26 years with USD 259, died Monday, January 2, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Nancy was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 23, 1952 to Fred and Barbara Easley, who precede her in death. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Laggart; son, Darrin (Laura), and their children, Douglas, Tatum, and Gannon; son, Randy; sisters, Judy (Gary), Kathy (Tim); brother, Steve (Kathy); many nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with: Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 5701 E. Mt. Vernon St., Wichita, KS 67218. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Nancy and I worked together in USD 259 in the Curriculum Department. She was a wonderful colleague! She believed in a job well done and I was constantly amazed at what she was able to accomplish. Our department also looked for opportunities to squeeze in some fun and Nancy was right in there as we played different games at lunch when we could. Rest In Peace Nancy
