Nancy “Jane” Beach, 88, Retired City Treasurer for the City of Andover, KS, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, September 23, 2022; Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 24, 2022, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by her sisters, Joella Dee (Donald) Fuqua, Jean Etta (Vernon) Scott, Carol K. (Harry) Payne; brother, Austin E. (Connie) Pond; parents, Irving and Doris V. Pond. Survived by her husband, James "Jim" Loye Beach; daughters, Suzanne (Doug) Coin, Lisa Jane Beach, all of Wichita; son, L. Alan (Rita) Beach of Grove, OK; grandchild, Bradley Q. (Jessica) Reinert of Wichita, KS and children, Boston and Beckham Reinert, Kristy (Will) Cluff of Shawnee, KS and children, Kellan and Lenora Cluff, Tina Mueller of Park City, KS and children, Amber, Georgia, Victoria and Gracie Sheffler, Kirk Sheffler of Kansas City, KS. A memorial has been established with: Union Rescue Mission, 2800 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219.

About 48 years ago I met a wonderful woman. She would need to work her sour dough starter and send Mr. B with cinnamon rolls to work. Her smile and kindness was evident and she became a friend I loved very much.
