Nancy R. Jarus

Nancy R. (Muller) Jarus, 86, retired Executive Assistant to Daniel M. Carney, co-founder of Pizza Hut, died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Congregation Emanu-El. Nancy was proud to have worked alongside her friend and boss, Dan, for over 37 years until retiring at age 80. She also served on the board of Congregation Emanu-El in past years and loved her Shocker basketball, a season ticket holder for more than 60 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Irving Jarus; parents, Irving and Bertha Muller; sister, Joyce Muller and step-son, Jerry Coleman. She is survived by sister, Caryl Weinberg; sons, Scott Jarus (Rebecca) of Manhattan Beach, CA, and Keith Jarus (Paula) of Kelseyville, CA; daughter, Karen Jarus Park (Rich) of Leawood, KS; grandchildren, Teddy Browar-Jarus, Thad Jarus, Gavin Jarus (Andrea), Bryant Jarus, Alex Jarus, Seth Jarus, Maya Hotchkiss and Shannon Coleman. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Congregation Emanu-El, 7011 E. Central, Wichita, KS 67206. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
