Heilman, Negla Massad Farha, 88, was born January 23, 1918 in Drumright, OK and she died Thursday, June 1, 2006. Trisagion 7:00 P.M., Sunday and Funeral Service 10:30 A.M., Monday, both at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her husbands, LaBebe F. Farha and Leonard C. Heilman. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Floyd Farha of Oklahoma City, OK; step-daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jerry Ford of Larned, KS; grandchildren, Marlys and Steve Bratton of Plano, TX, Jennifer and Patrick Landon of Lees Summit, MO, Andrea Miller of Columbus, OH and Jill and Matt Mountain of Cincinnati, OH; great-grandchildren, Reid and Kyle Bratton, Melanie, David, Elizabeth, Rachel, and Nicholas Landon, Kelsey Miller, Ashley, Andrew, Nathan, and Joshua Mountain; brother and sister-in-law, George and Linda Massad of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Marie Aboussie of Austin, TX, and Virginia Naifeh of Oklahoma City, OK. A memorial has been established with St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral, 7515 E. 13th, Wichita, KS, 67206. She was a prominent artist in Wichita. Negla devoted much time to the Girl Scouts and her church. “She loved her Lord and family above all else.” Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
