Nickolas (Nick) Chippeaux

Nickolas (Nick) Chippeaux passed away on December 14th, 2021 at the age 81 joining his beloved wife Magdalena (Maggie) Chippeaux, to whom he was happily married to for 56 years until her passing in 2018. Nick was born January 22nd, 1940 in Wichita, KS, the second of eight children born to Jewel and Regina Chippeaux. He graduated from Kapaun High school and went on to work at a variety of machine shops until he found his home at Cessna/Textron Aircraft. He retired after 41 years in 2005. His pride in workmanship gained him a reputation of one of the best machinists around. He was a family man who never let his dedication to work get in the way of missing important things with his girls. Even working off shifts he never missed an event. He spent many years being an amazing caregiver to his wife. Nick enjoyed golfing, football, fishing and bowling. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family and playing Farkle. This was a weekly tradition we had. He was preceded in death by his wife Maggie Chippeaux, parents Jewel and Regina Chippeaux and brother Roy Chippeaux. Nick is survived by his daughters Michelle Chippeaux-Kammerer (Harold) and Nicole Wyrick (William), granddaughters Amanda Blanc (Jeff); Erienne Bond; grandson, Kanin Wyrick; and great-granddaughters Melia, Kaylyn, and Brooke Blanc. Also surviving are his siblings Terry Chippeaux (Mary), Sharon Wright, Karen Flanigan, Mark Chippeaux (Diana), Judy Garrison (Bret), Don Chippeaux, sister-in-Law Maxine Chippeaux and many nieces and nephews.
