Norma Jean Kice

Norma Jean Kice went to be with the Lord, John 14:2-3, on Jan. 9, 2022, after 82 years. She was born October2, 1939 to Everette and Melba Williams. She attended one room schools early on, and Table Rock High School in South-eastern Nebraska, with her Senior year at Omaha South, and always made straight A’s. She was an avid reader, an accomplished Bridge player, a marvelous cook and a licensed private investigator. After raising 2 children, in Newton, KS, she met Richard Kice, D.D.S., in Wichita, KS. They were married in Hawaii, and enjoyed many trips, including picking up their beloved BMW in Munich, Germany, and the island-hopping bicycle tour, at Peugeot Sound in Washington State. Summers were spent in Arrowhead, Colorado, at 9500’, with a view of the Pinnacle Peaks over Blue Mesa Lake. She loved collecting dolls, and had a large collection, which included a Jan Hagara membership. She especially cherished her time with her granddaughter, Lindsey, doing arts and crafts, inventing games, playing store, and cooking up new creations in the kitchen. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Williams; sisters, Carol Brockmeir, and Doris Warrick; and daughter, Leslie Moser. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; sister, Peggy Gamble of Bella Vista, AR; brothers, Richard (Debbie) Williams of Tucson, AZ, Wayne Williams of Wichita; son, Brad (Sarah) Moser of Colwich, KS; step-son, Mark (Kathy) Kice of Lawrence, KS; step-daughter, Shelle (Jenn) Andrews of Valparaiso, IN; granddaughter, Lindsey (Brett) Lorg of Colwich, KS; step-granddaughters, Britt Kice of Lawrence, KS, and Morgan Kice in Mayetta, KS; step-grandsons, Braden Andrews, and Jaden Andrews of Valparaiso, IN; great-granddaughter, Lexi Lorg of Colwich, KS. Private family service to be held.
