Watson, Norman Bernard, born May 14, 1913 and died May 14, 2014 on his 101st birthday. He was born in Caldwell, KS. He attended Caldwell High School, and school reunions were very important to him. Norman worked in sales of many types, and in later years dealt in real estate. Norman served in World War II in the Bushmasters, in the South Pacific and later in occupation troops. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Watson; his brother, Paul; his half-sister, Burnice Scott; and his niece and nephew. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret (Maggi) Lund Watson; his great nieces and nephew; and Maggis nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel at First United Methodist Church, 330 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202. In lieu of flowers, a memorials have been established with the Caldwell High School Alumni Association, in care of Stock Exchange Bank, 103 S. Main, Caldwell, KS 67022; First United Methodist Church, 50/50 Sunday School Class, 330 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202. Downing Lahey East Mortuary.
