Patricia Ann Pat Dean

Dean, Patricia Ann (Pat), 86, of Wichita, Kansas died Sunday, November 17, 2013. She was born in Douglas County, Kansas on December 14, 1926 to Moody Chancellor Harrell and Ruth Lena Hamilton Harrell. Pat attended Wichita University where she belonged to Alpha Tau (Delta Gamma) sorority. She supported the war effort working for Boeing during the war. She married Donald Lincoln Dean on August 7, 1949 in Hillside Christian Church where she later served as a volunteer secretary. Pat also worked as an attendance clerk for the Wichita School District. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Don, of Wichita; daughters, Cindy Olson (Grady) of Kansas City, Peggy Savaiano (Tony) of Wichita; son, Ken Dean (Vona) of Wichita; sister, Sherry Harrell Fix of Newport Beach, California; many nieces and nephews; 5 grandchildren, Stacy, Corby, Eric, Garrett and Evan; and 4 great-grandchildren, Kaeden, Koen, Oliver and Remy. Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Downing Lahey East; Celebration of Life will be held at Hillside Christian Church at 10:00 A.M. on Friday November 22, 2013 with a burial following at White Chapel.
