Patricia Forshee, 75, retired restaurant waitress and floor manager, died Saturday, January 20, 2024. Rosary will be at 9:30 am; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, both on Friday, January 26, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Patricia enjoyed boating, working in her flower garden, observing nature in her backyard and was a lover of all animals. Preceded in death by her parents, Jay L. and Geraldine Conover; siblings, Cindy Dunmire, Larry (Kay) Conover. Survived by her husband, Ron Forshee; daughter, Kim (Tim) Manring; grandchildren, Ericka (Ray) Church, Jerik (Hannah) Manring; great-grandchildren, Tayten Church, Jackson Manring; siblings, Debbie (Jack) Lane, Karen (Allen) Klein, Sharon (Phil) Schoenhofer, Michael (Glenda) Conover, Cindy’s husband, Tim Dunmire; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: A Better Choice, 3007 East Central Avenue Wichita, KS 67214, Kansans for Life, 3301 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.

Del and I send our sympathy to all of Pat’s family. Ron’s mother and my mother were sisters so I and my sisters, Marla, Gail, and Nancy, saw a lot of Ron’s family growing up. When Ron and Pat lived in Shawnee, our kids were young and we were lucky to have Kin babysit for us. We send our love to all of you. —Roz & Del Bethke
