Patricia Jimenez Ten Eyck Veazey

Patricia Jimenez (Ten Eyck) Veazey, 88, of Haysville, loving mother and grandmother, passed peacefully into the hands of Our Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Patricia was born to Nicolasa Gonzalez Jimenez and Delfino Jimenez in Valley Center, Kansas on January 18, 1928. She graduated from Wichita High School North in 1946, and began a career in secretarial work. She retired from Lustercraft Plastics in 1993. Shortly after, she moved to Salida, Colorado and married Robert W. Veazey in 1994 where they enjoyed their retirement. After Roberts passing, she returned to Haysville, Kansas to be close to her children. Also preceded in death by son, Kipling. Survivors include sons, Lyn Ten Eyck and Tom Ten Eyck, and daughter, Kelly Draut (Dan), all of Wichita; grandson, David S. Womack (Brandy) and two great-granddaughters, Sophia and Olivia Womack. Rosary, 6 p.m., Thursday, August 18; Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Friday, August 19, both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Haysville. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
