Patricia Marie Steven, 70, died Friday, March 8, 2024. Rosary will be at 6:30 pm, Memorial Service will be at 7:00 pm, both on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Patty was a loving wife, mother and nana to her family. She loved crafting, flowers, birds and most of all spending time with her family. Patty worked in various departments at Bombardier Learjet throughout her 20 year career, most recently as a Technical Editor before her retirement. Preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Dorvel, Jr. and Elizabeth Louise McGrath; sisters, Connie L. McGrath, Judy Werth; and son, Joseph Steven. Survived by her husband, Leon Steven; daughter, Christina (Chris) Wagoner; Son, Aron (Grant Wilhite) Steven; granddaughter, Josie; brothers, Michael (Sherry) McGrath, Brian (Jill) McGrath, Kevin McGrath, Terry (Deonna) McGrath, Chris (Lori) McGrath, Tim (Cathy) McGrath and sisters, Carolyn Atkinson and Tracy (Steve) Iles. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202, and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS 67212.

    • I had the pleasure of bringing Holy Communion to Patty when she was homebound What a sweet lady with a beautiful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with family.

  3. I remember fondly working with Patty on a painting she asked me to do of the four generations of women in her family. It was a pleasure having her as a neighbor for many years.
