Patricia "Trish" Phelps

Patricia “Trish” Phelps, 91, died Friday, December 24, 2021.
Patricia was a cat lover. She even went to Australia once to pick one out. Born in Ponca City, OK, to Sara Lu and Joe Phelps, she attended Oklahoma State University then worked in Houston for a time before coming to Wichita. Trish was a dedicated Democrat, working in local politics, and was a member of the Turnip Club and ACLU. She retired from her office position at the Kansas Restaurant & Hospitality Association.
Services will be held later at Grace Episcopal Church in Ponca City, OK.

I have been servicing Mrs. Phelps’ lawn sprinklers for the past decade. I always enjoyed visiting with her. While she was still physically able, she kept a very neat yard, and I did my best to help her keep it that way. Always had a smile and a warm greeting for me. I will miss her dearly.
Trish was a wonderful and very close business friend for 15 years when we both worked at the Kansas Restaurant Association in Wichita. I will miss her and greatly enjoyed the many years we worked together at KAR.
