  1. I just wanted to send my condolence to the family members. I knew Pat starting back at Baysinger Gymnastics. I was the red headed girl Jana that helped with the class for the police officers. I also worked out with Pat up at the city building @ 6:00am. Pat helped tutor me in chemistry. I would go visit him when he did security @ Taco Tico friday nights. He has been a true friend when I needed him and somehow kept up on me for a while even though I did not see or here from him much after that. He was present @ my Fathers furneral back in 1984. I had not seen or heard from him for over 15 years now but he still has a special place in my heart. I just wanted to share this with you. Jana Wilhelm (DeGarmo)

  2. Marilyn and family, My heart is aching for you today as you say goodbye to Pat. What a wonderful Husband and Father and Friend he has always been. God blessed you giving you him in your lives and blessed him by giving him you to love. Marilyn you and Pat are a wonderful and rare true love story. I loved watching the two of you together. My prayers are with you and I love you dearly.

  3. My deepest condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of Patrick. I had the honor of meeting and working with Patrick at Envision when I was called to work on the irrigation system. Patrick always greeted me with a friendly smile and a warm handshake, and made me feel welcome as a friend. I will miss him deeply. Eric Stites Suburban Landscape Management

  4. Marilyn: I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s death. Our sympathy goes out to you and your family; may you find strength in each other and by sharing the many good memories you have accumulated over the years.

  5. I grew up in Wichita in the 60’s, and every summer afternoon all the neighborhood kids gathered at the corner of Columbine and Amidon when we saw our favorite young motorcyle cop, ‘P.Glynn’ drive up. We sat on the curb and talked to him while ‘helping’ him watch for speeders. He never once said for us to get lost, or that we were bothering him. When I saw in the Eagle that Patrick Glynn had passed away, I just wanted his family to know how special he was to the kids on Columbine Lane.

  6. My deepest sympathy to the family of Pat. I remember Pat from Via Christi as a very warm, friendly and passionate person when it came to his work. He allowed my daughter, Krystle Yakshe, to shadow him at work one summer, and she still talks about her experience with him, and the knowledge she gained from that experience. Pat will truly be missed.
