Patrick John Manning

Manning, Patrick John, 75, retired owner of Mannings Insurance Co., passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Sunday, June 8, and Funeral Mass 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 9, both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judith; children, Bill (Marsha) of Evergreen, CO, Karen (Carl) Lombardo of Centennial, CO, Melissa (Tracy) Hall of Springfield, MO, Mary Lynn of New York, NY and John (Kristin) of Wichita; sister, Nora Manning of Washington D.C.; brothers, William of Wichita and Michael (Mary Jo) of Chevy Chase, MD; grandchildren, Kathryn Hall, Carl Lombardo, Parker Hall, Michael Lombardo, Forrest Hall, Rachel Manning and Collin Manning; brother-in-law, Phillip (Polly) Hoggatt of Urbana, IL; nieces and nephews, Angela (Richard) Singletary, Andrew (Tammy) Hoggatt, Melinda (Dirk) Mattson, Christopher (Maria) Manning and Ashley (David) Still. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Emelia and William Manning. Patrick was a strong presence in the insurance industry, a devout member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and an avid fan of Kansas State University Athletics.
