Paul Anthony Rios passed peacefully at home with his wife and daughter by his side on the morning of October 12, 2023, at the age of 73 from complications of pancreatic cancer. Rosary will be at 10:00 am, Mass will be at 10:30 am, Friday, October 20, 2023, at All Saints Catholic Church.Paul was born December 22, 1949 in Colusa, CA, though he would claim many different cities and states as home throughout his youth. After meeting and marrying his wife, Brenda, they moved to Houghton-Hancock, MI, where Paul attended Michigan Tech for electrical engineering. In 1982, they settled in Wichita, KS, where they had their miracle baby, Heather. One of his greatest accomplishments in life was, quite simply, his family. Paul started his career at Boeing, but soon found his way to Via Christi, where he was a network engineer for over 20 years. After retiring in June 2019, Paul spent his time enjoying a variety of hobbies, most notably bike riding. Loved for his good humor, entertaining anecdotes, and vast knowledge of a little bit of everything, Paul will be truly missed by his entire extended family and friends. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Brenda; devoted daughter, Heather; and loyal grand-corgi, Tucker. 1. I’m terribly sorry to hear about your family’s loss. I worked with Paul for 7 years at Via Christi in the datacenter. He was always kind to me, made us laugh, and was a part of what made working there during those years so great. Rest in peace brother.

  2. Brenda and Heather, I’m so sorry for the loss of Paul. I know how important you were to him. I so enjoyed being your neighbor for those years. Know that I’m holding you in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Brenda and Heather
We send love and hugs to you during this sad time. I alway think of Paul’s bright smile whenever I saw him. He had a kind and gentle manner.
His eyes and smile would light up when he talked about Heather, you could feel his pride.
He loved his family and you brought him so much love and joy. He will be missed.
We love you, Joanne and Jeff Kaster
