  1. I am Pr. Reese’s piano student in Wichita State University from 1996-2011. I am very grateful and being honored to be his student. He will be remembered for his dedication in teaching as well as great passion in modern music.

  2. Rest Paul, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation.

  3. Paul was a fine musician and a true gentleman in all respects. I was privileged to work with him as a colleague for many years in the School of Music, and always enjoyed his generous and friendly attitude. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. Bill Thomson Professor Emeritus Wichita State University

  4. I was a student of Paul’s at Wichita State in the early 1980’s.  He was always hospitable, welcoming, and generous with his time.  Paul was kind and had a quiet patient approach to teaching.  I am grateful for having him in my life as a teacher and friend.  I extend my condolences to his family.

  5. It is impossible to fully articulate the positive impact Mr. Reed has had on my career and life. In short, he renewed in me the joy of making music and at the same time constantly challenged me to be my best. Because of him, I have always continued to “find the music!” So many memories, but the most satisfying for me was our lunch 2 years ago. I was finally able to articulate directly to him my gratitude and admiration. All my best wishes for peace for his family in knowing that he meant so much to so many. RIP dear mentor and friend.
