Pearl J. Whittit

Pearl J. Whittit, 93, Homemaker, died Saturday, September 20, 2025. She was born January 4, 1932, in Sawyer, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary, Wichita, KS. Graveside Service will be at 3:00 pm, Friday, September 26, 2025, at Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita, KS.

Pearl met her husband, Alex, in Wichita in 1951. They were married in 1953 and had a beautiful life with their four children. They were married 56 years. Pearl enjoyed traveling the world with her husband.

Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, Milo John and Beulah Eva (Dauner) Sellon; husband, Alexander T. Whittit, Sr.; and son, John C. Whittit. She is survived by her sons, Alex (Joyce) Whittit Jr. of Derby, KS, James (Gwen) Whittit of Goddard, KS; daughter, Loretta J. (Conrad) Jansson of Garden Plain, KS; daughter-in-law, Olga Anatolevna Whittit of Wichita, KS; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
