Pedro M. Dr. Gonzalez

Gonzalez, Dr. Pedro M. 90, Retired General Practitioner, loving husband, father, and grandfather, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Pedro graduated from medical school as the youngest in his class in 1949 in Havana, Cuba, then practiced surgery for 19 years in Cuba. He then moved to Wichita in 1970 and was a General Practitioner in private practice before joining the VA Hospital for 23 years. Visitation with the Family will be from 5:00 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Lakeview Cemetery. Preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Mercedes Gonzalez; sister, Mercedes "Mercy" Caballero. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Ana B. Gonzalez; daughter, Ana Maria Kilissanly; grandchildren, Anthony Kilissanly of Miami, FL, Aimee Kilissanly; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; several great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to express gratitude and thanks to Dr. William Loewen, Dr. Johnny Moussa, NE DaVita Dialysis, and the staff at Regent Park for their kindness and support.
