Penny Jr. Jim

Penny, Jim, Jr, 77, loving husband, father, and friend, died Sunday, February, 24, 2008. Visitation with the family Tuesday, February 26, from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and funeral service 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 27 both at Downing Lahey East Chapel. Graveside service will be at the Fredonia City Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday. James retired from Cessna Aircraft after 43 years as a truck driver-outside transportation. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou (Downey), sisters Arlene Bagby, Leona Roseberry, and Betty Pryor. Survivors: children, Tammie (Brian) Trimmell, Daniel Penny, and Dennis Penny, all of Wichita; step-children, Rosa Lee (David) Ingram, of Valley Center, and Clark (Betty) Penny, of La Pine, OR; sisters, Peggy Rule, of Wichita, Lucille McCarty, of Seattle, WA, and Twila Urbanek, of Tulsa, OK; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society, 818 N. Emporia, S-100, Wichita, KS 67214. Visitation with the family 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside service 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Fredonia City Cemetery.
