Perez, Caesar Vincent “Vince”, 66, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2010. Rosary and Mass 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9 at Church of the Magdalen. Vince was a retired data systems analyst for the Air Force and also a retired State of Kansas representative for the Disabled Veterans Outreach Program. Survivors: wife, Irma (Fuentes) Perez; daughter, Shala Jean Perez of Wichita; step-son, Henry Fuentes of Wichita; mother, Felicita Perez of Lima, Peru; sisters, Gladis Perez of Lima, Peru, Juana Edelmira Perez and Doris Graciela Hanel, both of San Antonio, TX and Rosa Angelica Perez of Lima, Peru. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
Rosary and Mass 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9 at Church of the Magdalen.

Vince\’s passing was a shock to me. We were grad students at the same time and I enjoyed my classes with Vince very much. He was a kind and intelligent man. Although I hadn\’t seen him for a few years, we included each other on email lists, sharing political, historical and often humorous emails.
