Persons Daniel S.

Persons, Daniel S., 19, student at the University of Kansas School of Architecture, died Sunday June 14, 2009 in a motor vehicle accident. Rosary: Wednesday, June 17 at 7pm; Funeral Mass: Thursday, June 18 at 10am. Graveside service and luncheon following the Mass. Both services at St John Catholic Church, 302 N. Denver in El Dorado, KS. Dan is survived by his parents, Steve and Pam and sister, Jenna of the home; grandparents, Jane Persons of El Dorado and Dr. Dave and Helen Knudtson of Wichita. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bert Persons in 1997. Additional survivors include aunts, uncles and cousins: Karen and Kent Seiler and children of Garden Plain, KS; Dr. John and Peggy Knudtson and children of Wichita, KS; Dr. Eric and Julie Knudtson of Oklahoma City, OK; Brock and Debbie Persons and children of Louisville, KY. Dan also leaves behind numerous local and international friends. Dan was a young man with many interests and talents including art, music, photography, 4-H, BEST robotics, and soccer. He was known for his sense of humor. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dan Persons Memorial Scholarship Fund in c/o the Circle School District Foundation, 901 E.
