Peter Vaughn Brier

Brier, Peter Vaughn, 57, passed away at Wesley Hospital Saturday, February 28, 2015. Peter is survived by his wife Kimberly Brier, children, Shanda Ackermann, Michelle Fox, Paige Brier, and Monica Wolf and his sister Jaime Brier. Peter also has 3 grandchildren, Ethan Fox, Trinity Fox and Zachary Wolf. He is preceded in death by both his parents, Dorothy Johnson and John Brier. Peter was born on Dec. 26, 1957 in Topeka, Kansas to Dorothy Johnson and John Brier. He married Kimberly Ellis on September 5, 1987. Their 30 year marriage was believed to only be read in fairy tales. He found the love of his life and cherished their love. He was more than a father to his children he was their best friend. He did not know a stranger and touched all that knew him. He had a voice that inspired millions. Peter was the owner of Jewelry Savers of Wichita and was a dedicated and talented jeweler. He loved to hunt and be outdoors. He was an active and dedicated member of Summit Church. A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 1 P.M at Summit Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Peters life.
