Phyllis Marie (Evans) Roush

Phyllis Marie (Evans) Roush 86, retired co-owner of Gene Roush Decorating, entered peacefully into eternal life on Thursday, December 10, 2015. She was born February 16, 1929 to Otto and Mabel (Sumner) Evans in Leon, Kansas and was married to her husband of 50 years, Ronald E. “Gene” Roush, on June 4, 1950. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and faithful servant of God. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (David); son, Ron (Robin); 4 granddaughters and 1 great-granddaughter. Memories can be shared with the family at the visitation, 3-5 p.m., Sunday, December 13, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 1 p.m., Monday, December 14, Northside Church of Christ in Wichita, followed by a graveside service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
