Rachel Ann Newsom

Rachel Ann Newsom, 85, Homemaker, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Rachel was a homemaker and enjoyed baking cakes, camping, and gardening. Rachel and Charles spent their retirement traveling to Texas and Colorado. They were members of the Good Sam Camping Club. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bertha Cummings; husband, Charles L Newsom. Survived by her sons, Michael (Diana) Newsom of Augusta, KS, David (Ellen) Newsom of Sedgwick, KS; daughter, Anna Newsom of Wichita; grandchildren, Chelsey Gotti, Daniel Newsom, Nicholas Newsom, Shane Newsom, Caleb Newsom, Dena Tucker, Jaims Tucker, Jessica Tucker, Marcus Tucker; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Keegan, Lexi, Joe, Emery, and Gabriel.
