Masur, Raleigh F., 75, retired Raytheon engineer, died Monday, May 16, 2005. Memorial service 2:00 P.M., Thursday, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Survivors: wife, Goldie (Bishop) Masur; sons, David Masur of El Cahon, CA, Rick Masur, Randy Masur, Carl Shannon and Jeffery Shannon all of Wichita; daughters, Cindy Ruff and Connie Shannon both of Wichita; brother, Mark Masur of Carl Junction, MO; sisters, Agnes Streeter of Victoria, TX, Margaret Varga of Arcadia, CA and Charlotte Vogel of Mt. Rose, MO; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 N. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202.

Goldie, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Raleigh. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I attribute where I am today to the mentorship that Raleigh taught me when we worked together at Beech. He will be missed by many.
