Raymond L. “Ray” Burdick
87, owner of Sunflower Equipment and United States Navy Veteran, died Monday, January 18, 2016. Memorial Service will be at 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 22, 2016, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Throughout his life Raymond enjoyed deep sea fishing, golf, and dominoes. Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Caroline; parents, Bonnie and Arthur Burdick. Survived by his sons, Darrell (Vicky) Burdick of Wichita, Gary (Roberta) Burdick of Andover, Martin (Susan) Burdick of Wichita; daughter, Sherry Crandell of Mesa, AZ; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Memorials have been established with: Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67218; Hope Music Works c/o Hope Community Church, 1831 E. 21st St., Andover, KS 67002.
