Cockrum, Raymond, L., 76, retired pipe fitter for Union #441, died Thursday, July 17, 2008. Visitation with the family 5:00 ~ 7:00 P.M., Sunday, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside service 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 21, Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Arkansas City. Preceded in death by parents, Ned L. and Elsie V. Cockrum; brother, Ronald N. Cockrum. Survivors: brother, Donald and Dorothy Cockrum of Boise, ID; nephews, Donald L. Cockrum II, Jody R. Cockrum and Jamey N. Cockrum; niece, Kathleen OConnor; several great nieces and nephews. Raymond was a caring man with a tender heart who loved his family very much. Raymond was a Masonic member. A memorial has been established with American Diabetes Association, 837 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS, 67211. Visitation with the family 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
