Raymond Lee Brummett, 86, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, died Friday, December 27, 2024.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Friday, January 10, 2025, at Metropolitan Baptist Church.
Raymond was a retired lawyer with Wichita Federal Land Bank. He was a coach and leader at West Urban Baseball and a former teacher and coach at Word of Life and Trinity Schools.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Mildred Brummett. He is survived by his wife, Linda Brummett; sons, Greg (Donna) Brummett, Jeffrey Ray (Lorene) Brummett, all of Wichita, Matt (Mona) Brummett of Leawood, KS; grandchildren, Garrett (Marie) Brummett, Brynn (Jordan) Miller, Anna Marie Brummett, Hadi Brummett; great-grandson, Ames Brummett; brother, John O. (Gayle) Brummett of Rockwall, TX; sister, Susan Smith of TX.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Elevate Hospice, 1861 North Rock Road, Suite #380, Wichita, Kansas 67206.

He was such a sweet man as I recall him coaching my son Brian Hornung’ at west urban. Thoughts and prayers to Linda and Greg from Joann hornung Temaat
We are so sorry, Linda. He was a good man and lots of fun to visit with. I remember him from our old Dining Out Group. He could tell a story! Easter taught us that life never ends and love never dies. God bless you.
Ray was a great Christan Man and I feel privileged to have had him as a friend
