Raymond, Patrick “Pat”, 76, independent oil operator, died Saturday, August 2, 2008. Memorial service 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at University Congregational Church. Pat was born July 2, 1932 in Wichita. He graduated from East High School and attended Kansas State University and Wichita State University. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Faye Mary Raymond. Survivors: wife, Sue (Van Deventer) Raymond; son, Steven Patrick and wife, Ruth Anne Raymond of Centennial, CO; daughter, Sally Ann Raymond of Topeka; sister, Judith Raymond Alderson of Wichita; grandchildren, Jenna Raymond, Callie Raymond, Katherine Raymond, Annie Raymond and Dylan Tillery. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 4218 SE Blvd., Wichita, KS, 67210. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
