Recy Lorene Johnston, 96, Retired from Instrument Manufacturing with Beech Aircraft, died Thursday, January 11, 2024. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Hope Community Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert Johnston; parents, Harley and Ludie Hendrickson; son, William A. (Karla) Johnston; brother, Lealon Hendrickson; sister, Hazel Hostedler; grandchildren, Ivy Michelle Johnston, Kendall Johnston; sons-in-law, Charles Dennis, Steve Meyers. Survived by her daughters, Marilyn "Candy" Dennis, Melinda (Chuck) Balzen, Teresa Meyers, Roberta (Gary) Burdick; brothers, Ronald Hendrickson, Carl Hendrickson; sister, Carolene Petefish; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
