Duane and I were ministerial colleagues in the former Kansas West Conference. He had an engaging smile, a welcoming spirit and warm presence that radiated love and grace. His many church appointments created a big list of people his life and ministry impacted. May peace and comfort be with his family.

I had the wonderful opportunity to serve Mr. Duane months before his passing. He was a good-spirited and easy-going man. He never failed to tell me a dad joke or make me smile. He will be missed and I know he is finally in the place we are all trying to get to!
