Reva Marilyn Owens

Reva Marilyn Owens Marilyn was born January 1, 1933, in Springville, Utah. She passed away October 16, 2017 in Wichita, Kansas. Marilyn was an active member in the LDS Church. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1953 and was a dedicated, retired elementary school teacher. Her teaching career spanned three states: Utah, California and Kansas. A visitation with the family will be 6-8:30 p.m., Thursday, October 19, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. She will be buried privately by her family in the Maize Park Cemetery. Preceded in death by her parents, Leonel T. and Veda Miller; brothers, David and Thomas Miller. Survivors: husband, Rex T. Owens; daughter, Andrea Zeorlin; two grandchildren, Katherine Ann (Daniel) Crass and Bret Allen Zeorlin; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, John F. Owens; sisters-in-law, Jan Miller and Carolyn Miller. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Maize 2nd Ward, 1842 N. Edwards, Wichita, KS 67203.
