Rhonda Jean Ashley-Helm, age 65, ascended into God’s graces while being surrounded by family on December 26, 2022. A warrior throughout life. There was never an obstacle she couldn’t overcome. It would be wrong to say Rhonda lost her battle because she never quit fighting. She bravely finished her fight on Earth and peacefully entered eternal rest. With a true passion for helping others, she was able to impact countless lives. Specifically, serving as a drug and alcohol administrator for over 20 years. We know her spirit will continue on in those lucky enough to have known her and experienced her light. With an unconditional love for her family, her faith, and Kansas City Chiefs football. Her legacy will live on forever. Rhonda will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. “They whispered to her, you’re not strong enough to withstand the storm, She whispered back, I am the storm.” - Author Unknown “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 Rosary will be at 6:00 pm, Monday, January 2, 2023; Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, both at Holy Savior Catholic Church.
