  1. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Ceasar, I’m sorry to hear that Rick passed away last week. I knew Rick well through grade school and high school. I grew up in Wichita on North Fountain and Rick, Ed Vliet, and Bill Sidles were all good friends of mine. Rick had many friends and I was always envious of his popularity. Rick, Ed, and I walked home together after school almost every day from Buckner and later Brooks Jr. High. Rick was never the greatest athlete but he always liked basketball. I remember in 7th grade he made the baskeball team. Both Ed and I were jealous that Rick had made the team. On the way home from school one day we asked Rick how he made the team and he said ‘I just asked the coach if I could be on the team and he said yes’. The next day we tried it but it didn’t work for us. I’ll alway remember Rick as a kind and gentle person and I have a lot of good memories of the times we spent together. I know this is a difficult time for you and I will keep you and all the family in my prayers. Sincerely, Jack Hagan

  2. I am so very sorry for your loss of Rick, mere words cannot express enough to comfort or console a loss of a son, brother or freind. Rick and I ran into each other at Food for Thought and at Bella Luna from time to time, we caught up on the latest in each others lives as well as extending the greetings to family members. Charming and hansome as usual we always shared a laugh about some current event or past event. Again my sincere thoughts are with you and yours at this time of passing.
