Sutter, Richard A., 82, retired self-employed electrical contractor and retired U.S. Navy Radioman Chief, died Thursday, February 1, 2007. Vigil 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 4, and Memorial Mass 11:30 A.M., Monday, both at Church of the Resurrection. Preceded in death by first wife, Ruth Pleyer Sutter and daughter, Cecilia Giddeon. Survivors: wife, Kathleen E. (Kopplin) Sutter; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Donna Sutter of North Babylon, NY, Richard and Wendy Sutter of Valley Center, KS, Harold and Joli Sutter of Wichita, Christopher and Linda Sutter of Miami, FL and Brian and Janet Sutter of Benton, KS; daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Mike Pearman of Guthrie, OK, Terry Giddeon of Clearwater, KS and Laura and Michael Quick of Wichita; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Alaska Radio Mission, Station KNOM, P.O. Box 988, Nome, AK, 99762. Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Vigil 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 4, Church of the Resurrection.

  1. I was sorry to read in the Salisbury Press of the loss of your father. Seeing his name brought back lots of memories of you guys, and times at your grandparents, and U. Ward and A. Doris’.
