Richard was such a beautiful soul; I absolutely loved hearing stories from his wonderful wife when I worked with Dr. Gerlach – always made my days brighter and better.. Praying for peace, great memories, and a legacy of a life well lived. Until we meet again, Mardee Harrell
I remember Janice and Dick and how they always were so supportive of me when I was having my children. I remember they lined up a babysitter for Denny and I and took us to the Lobster restaurant on Central. At that time, that was one of the nicest things they could have done for me. Dick always had some really interesting stories to tell and they lived in a remodeled farmhouse near Valley Center. They always have a special place in my heart.

Dick was my cousin-in-law. He was also a good friend. We enjoyed many interesting and meaningful conversations.
RIP, friend.
