  1. I was very sad to hear of Dick’s passing. We both grew up in Augusta, Kansas. He was 6 years older than I so I only knew him through our parents. In a town the size of Augusta, however, everyone knew everyone else. His father’s place of business was near the bank where my mother worked. When I came to Wichita in 1968 to practice law, I saw Dick regularly. No matter where we ran into each other, he always called me ‘Donnie’ because I was a youngster when he knew me in Augusta. After he moved out to RAGE, I did not see him very often. He was always very kind to me both personally and in law practice, and I was very impressed by his knowlege of the law. Again, I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

  2. Please accept my sincere condolences. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Dick over the years, admiring not only his legal skills, but his sense of humor and his good nature. He will be missed.

  3. He was a kind and generous man. He was a great friend of my Dad’s and took good care of my Mom after my dad was gone. Now he and my Dad can be together again! He will be greatly missed!

  4. Dear Linda and family: We were sorry to hear of Dick’s death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It’s interesting to us that the service is at Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. Fred and I were married there in 1962. It was my childhood church. We are sure thinking of you. Our love,
