Richard Ingersoll

Richard Ingersoll, aged 78, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2025, reuniting with his parents Dorothy and Walton Ingersoll in heaven. Richard was a cherished partner, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind his devoted partner of 32 years, Billy Moore. He is also survived by his loving sister, Diane Oakes and her husband, Bob Oakes. Richard was a proud uncle to his niece, Jenna Smith and nephew, James Oakes, and a great-uncle to their children, who will all miss him dearly. Richard's warm spirit, kind heart, and gentle nature touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and his dedication to those he held dear. A celebration of Richard's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share the many wonderful stories that made Richard such a remarkable person. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Richard's name, to continue his legacy of kindness and generosity. Rest in peace, Richard.
