Richard K. Wilson 69, Acosta Sales and Marketing salesperson, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. Memorial Service, 11 a.m., Saturday, December 15, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Richards hobbies included running marathons and bicycle racing. He ran the Pikes Peak Marathon and was the first competitor from Kansas to compete in the “Double”. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Wilson. Survivors: wife, Winona “Nonie”; children, Aaron (Danae) Wilson and Amanda (Dave) McKee; brother, Steve (Donna) Wilson all of Wichita, and his dog, Bella.   7. Richard and I were very good friends. We went to school together, worked together and played sports together. I also worked with Nonie at Walls IGA. Richard was a groomsman at my wedding. I count him one of my best friends in life. I did not see him much over the past 20 years because we live in Olathe Kansas. Im sorry I wont make the memorial because of my own health issues. My wife and I send our prayers and condolences to Nonie and family. Ill never forget his friendship. He was a great person and fun to be with. God Bless, say hello to Steve for me also!
