Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I was saddened to see that Richard did not recover from his injuries. Richard was a great roommate during my recovery stay at Life Care. I only knew him from my 2 month stay, but I quickly recognized that he had been a great husband, grandfather, and greatgrandfather. We were able to share many memories of Army Aviation and travels around the country and world. We had been in many of the same places, but apparently not at the same time. Although our time was short together, I felt priveleged to know him. I considered him a friend. I regret that I was not able to attend the visitation and funeral, as I was called out of town unexpectedly yesterday afternoon and did not return until late last night. It was my pleasure to meet all of you when you visited Richard. I do not believe that you could have a more loving family than you all are. He was very fortunate. Best of luck and life to all you.
Boy what a loss. We will miss Dick so much, knowing here’s not here with us. What a great guy, so kind, and so caring. Dick was the strong, silent type of guy who would do anything for anyone. We’re sorry for your loss. With sincere sympathy,

Dick was quite the amazing person. Both he and Shirley were like grandparents to me when mine had passed. I will never ever forget the way they touched my life. Dick was always there to wave or say hello. Or to help out in small quiet ways, like checking our mail when we were gone or taking up the trash cart from the street for us. From the yearly halloween garage display to an afternoon spent in the kitchen as a child. He will be missed dearly. I am sure that both he and Shirley are in a better place smiling down on us all right now.
To the Richard Sullivan Family: We were so sorry to hear of your loss, and wanted to express our sincere sympathy. We know Richard will be missed, but you will always have the memories of your happy times together. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Ted and Karen Maupin
