beloved Gramma and retired organist, died March 11, 2018, surrounded by loving family. Born to George and Theresa (Berls) Reibenspies on March 15, 1927, in Wichita, she was the third of five children. Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sr. Rose RSM, Frank, Mary OShea; husband of 52 years, B. Neil Carney. Survivors include sister, Teresa Bomhoff of Wichita; sons, Paul (Eileen) of Shawnee, OK, Mark (Kathy) of Middletown, MD, John (Dianne) of Lenexa, KS, and David (Patricia) of Red Oaks, TX; daughters, Anne (Bob) Simpson and Jane (Randy) Wiley of Wichita; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Lover of all things chocolate, musical, and the Chicago Cubs, Rita Mae found raz-ma-tazz in simple pleasures. Her deep Catholic faith sustained her through many years of caregiving to her spouse, children and grandkids. She drew strength from prayer and inspired others through humility, fidelity, piety and self-sacrifice.
