Robert “Bob” F. Sigman, 78, loving husband, dad, and grandpa, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on November 18, 1943, to Ida (Simon) & Alfred Sigman in Wichita, KS. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diana (Newby); his children, Brian (Debbie), Julie (Mike) Mongold, and Dr. Shaunda (Rob) Rodriguez; 6 grandchildren; brother, Ralph Sigman; brother-in-law, Henry Vestering; and countless family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Ida Sigman; sister, Carol Vestering; brother, Dwayne; sister-in-law, Joanne Sigman and in-laws, Virgil and Rosella Newby. Bob was a master upholsterer of 60 years and also worked at Cessna, Executive Aircraft and Ascension Via Christi. Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church. Rosary will be 6:30 pm, Thursday, January 20, 2022 and Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, Friday, January 21, 2022. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Resurrection Cemetery. Bob was such a good Man. I consider myself blessed to have known him. He was a strong Catholic man and set a good example for us at Christ The King. He also did very fine work and we are blessed to have a few examples of his craftsmanship around our house. He will be Greatly Missed!
