Celebrating the life of Robert “Bob” Fellers, a dedicated family man and friend who passed away at the age of 81. Born on July 27, 1944, in Springfield, MO, Bob brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. Known for being reliable, fun-loving, genuinely caring, and deeply patriotic, Bob’s vibrant personality left a lasting impression.

Bob honorably served in the Army during the Vietnam War before establishing a successful forty-three year career as a Farmers Insurance Agent. His remarkable work ethic and “gift of gab” made him a successful salesman and a cherished colleague.

Bob and Dianne married young on October 31, 1964. Their journey together spanned six wonderful decades, with a lot of time spent at Table Rock Lake.

A man of many hobbies, Bob was always up for fishing, boating, caring for his animals, and watching sports and movies. He was happiest surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories and jokes, his laughter filling the room.

Bob leaves behind a legacy of wonderful memories with his wife, Dianne; their children, Emily (James) Telfer and Matt (Lisa) Fellers; and his grandchildren, Reese and Ridge Fellers. He also leaves his sisters, June Burnett, Jane (Loren) Cannefax, Marylin (Dan) Brooks, and Lisa (Jimmy) Siever. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Fellers and Mary Sanders.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 29, 2025, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.

In honor of Bob’s life, memorial contributions may be made to Beauties and Beasts Rescue (114 St. Pattie, Wichita, KS 67211), to honor his love for animals. Bob’s memory and his stories will continue to inspire all who knew him, ensuring his spirit lives on through the many lives he touched.
