Robert Bob Jennings

Robert “Bob” Jennings, 74, retired City of Wichita Flood Control Supervisor, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014. Rosary will take place 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 20, and Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 21, both at Church of the Holy Spirit, in Goddard. A friend to many, and best friend to his wife, Sondra, and their beloved Labrador, Gracie, Bob was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and he served on the Church of the Holy Spirit building committee. Bob was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Frances Jennings; first wife, Ann Marie (Haberman) Jennings; sons, Robert and William, and step-son, Richard Tarrant, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Sondra, of Goddard; children, Shelly Brown, of Towanda, Renee Taylor (Kevin), of Lone Jack, MO, and Roberta Rohling (Keith), of Mt. Hope; step-children, Brian Tarrant, of Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Father Gar R. Demo, of Lenexa; sister, Margaret Willis (Glenn), of Hilmar, CA; 8 grandchildren.
