Robert Glenn Maulin, 92, died Sunday, April 5, 2020. Born November 10, 1927 at home in Tunas, MO to Glenn Arley Maulin and Audrey Stogsdille Maulin. Preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Maulin Anderson; brothers, Kenneth Leon Maulin, Forrest Lee Maulin. Married Betty Alice Cantrell and Carolyn Lee Perry, both of whom preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by his son, Gary Maulin. Married Margaret Susan Mason and moved to College Station, TX upon retirement and selling B&B Tax Service. Attended grade school at Tunas, MO, attended high school at Louisburg, MO and graduated from Tunas High School in 1945. Enlisted in the U.S. Marines January 1946 and sent to Paris Island, SC for Basic Training transferred to Washington, D.C. for Administrative and Guard Duties. Transferred to the Reserves and released to inactive duty. Learned to fly as a pilot at a Flight School in Wichita, KS. Attended Wichita University while employed at Central Supply Co. and as a member of Wichita Marine Reserves Unit and was ordered to active service for the Korean Conflict. After release to inactive duty served as Admin Chief and 1st Sergeant for the Marine Reserve Unit, Electronics Marine Company. Retired from the Marine Corps Reserves Electronics Maintenance Co. on March 1, 1970. Retired from Crane Supply Co. in 1980. Established B&B Tax Service. Became a member of Albert Pike Lodge #303 Masonic Lodge in 1956. Became Master of Albert Pike 1970. Member of Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason. Joined Midian Shrine and became a member of the Flying Fezze to transport crippled and burned patients to the Shriners Hospitals. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, April 13, 2020, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Private Family Graveside Service. Survived by his wife, Susan; children, Steven Maulin, Vickie Veber; 6 grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
