Kallail, Robert Lewis 84, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 15, 2015 at 6:45 P.M. at St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church. Entombment will be Tuesday, November 16, 2015, at 10:30 A.M., at Old Mission Cemetery. Friends and Family mourn the loss of Robert, “Bobby K, Gido, and Dad.” Bob was born September 22, 1931 in Wichita, Kansas where he lived the majority of his life. He graduated from North High school, attended Wichita State University where he was a member of the wrestling team. After graduating from WSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree Bob served in the U.S. Army and returned to Wichita where he was employed by The Rudd Family Standard Beverage Company. Next, he and his partner opened and operated “The Famous” a Private Club. Bob was involved in the creation of “Taco Kids” fast food chain, “For Petes Sake Restaurant,” and operated 5 Pizza Huts in Sacramento California. Returning to Wichita, Bob later worked for Harper Trucks before retiring to a more quiet life. Bob was loved by many and never had a cross word to say about anyone. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Clara; his sister, Frances Barkett; his brothers, Philip, George and Donald. Survived by his two daughters, Michelle Kallail White of Manhattan Beach, California, and Kara Kallail Maxwell of Sun Valley, Idaho; 5 grandchildren, Madison White, Robert White, Ryan White, Lyla Maxwell and Asher Maxwell.
