Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Marg & Family, So sorry to read about Bob. My prayers are with all of you. There are no words that can comfort you, but know I care. It is the toughest thing in Life for your child to pass before you. I know with the lose of Jason 4 yrs ago. God be with all of you!!!!!
Bob was my dear friend during our early college years in pre-vet and we ended up as lab partners for 4 years in vet school. The time we spent together was memorable and colorful. I still remember his ever-full coffee pot at his desk – it didn’t matter if it was day or night – there was always coffee wherever Bob was. He had an awesome sense of humor and many of our late night study sessions were spent in laughter. I’m going to miss him. My heartfelt prayers are with your family as you struggle with this loss. God’s blessings. With love, Kristol Stenstrom, Shawnee, KS
Dear Margie and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you now. Bob worked SO hard to find a good home for our daughter, and we will never forget his selflessness – showing homes at all hours of the day and night! Such a pleasant personality, such an infectious grin! God bless you all and give you peace.
Bob and Margie, Words cannot express how sorry I am for your devastating loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

We are so sorry for your loss. What a tragedy to lose so young a man with such a loving family. We will be thinking of you as you pass through this difficult time.
Linda and I so very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Dear Sue, Carol and family I cant begin to tell you had saddened I was when I heard about Bobbys passing. Bobby made a huge impact in my life and I wanted to share a few of them with you. It was freshman year and I still remember the first time I met him; he looked like the Elephant Man following his moped accident. What I remember was a young man who everyone was drawn to. Everyone was truly drawn to him he always had a group gravitating his way. He had a big smile, laugh and body gestures that were truly unique he made everyone feel comfortable. I was a scared and shy boy and somehow he could see that. The first piece of advice he ever gave me was ‘you need to do something different with your hair’.good advice I should have taken it! Latter that year I went on the ski trip and my room assignment was with three seniors, once again Bobby realizing this would have been terrible for me said come stay in our room on the floor. That trip was the first real time I spent with him but it was a blast! I had never skied before so he of course he took me straight to the Black Diamonds and tree bashing. I laughed the entire trip thanks to him. The next year I needed a job and Bobby got me an interview to work at Gringo Charlies. It worked out and I had the pleasure of getting to work with him. I really needed a job and without his recommendation I probably wouldnt have gotten it. He was a hard worker and I learned a lot from him, mostly about life and having fun. Five years ago at the reunion the warmest welcome I received from anyone was from Bobby. He greeted me with an ‘Oh My God John Walker’ it was classic Bobby. Once again I got to see that big smile, big heart and charisma no one else possessed and once again I found that all I did in his presence was laugh. This may seem like a corny letter and I wish I had shared these things with him but without Bobby I would not be where I am today. That is a fact. He was truly one of a kind and a terrific friend. Though I have only seen him a handful of times in 25 years I have thought and spoken about him many, many times. I was lucky to be able to call him a friend. I am truly sorry I cant make the trip to Wichita for the services but I will be thinking about him. You may or may not get this but I truly hope he never had to work on January the 8th because thats Elviss birthday. You are all in my thoughts. John Walker Huntsville, AL
Dear Sue, Lauren, Landon, & Megan, We just wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers and Robert was a good man he will be missed deeply by all. If there is anything we can do please don’t hesitate to call we are here for you in anyway we can. Take care of yourselves.
Bob, Margie and family: Please accept our most heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Robert. As mortals, it is hard for us to understand why God chose to take someone so young but he always has a purpose. We are praying for all of you.
My heart just breaks for the sorrow that each of you are having at this time. Your families have given me so many wonderful memories during my years at Bishop Carroll. Robert was just a great student at Carroll and I remember him well. Sue I remember when your mother married Davids father. What a nice match. Sue you were a delight and I am sure you still are. Marjorie and Robert you were always supportive of your children and their teachers. Carol, cheerleading was a joy because of you and I will never forget those great times. Karen you have really done well in the Maize school system and have a great husband that I also remember well. Mary Kay gymnastics was my first knowledge of you and your wonderful family. Recently I have gotten to see and work with David, it is just always so neat to run into students from the past. I wish I could be with you at this time but it is just not possible in person. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. We just never understand why life ends the way it does, but I hope that Bobs wonderful memories will help to heal your hurt at this time.
I am very sad to receive this news and wish I could be in Wichita. Bob was always so kind to me and I will always be grateful for the family’s investment in my little startup of a company. Chris and I will continue to keep Sue and the kids in our thoughts.
